ZARA Clothing Review

ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ

So, here I am a new Zara customer. I've of course heard of the brand; but my interest with their store only came back when my friend told me about their perfume dupe of the YSL Black Opium.

I downloaded their app on my tablet,

I narrowed down to the basics that I needed to buy,

and these are the items I chose to check out with:

  • These are simple and basic cotton long sleeve shirts; I imagined being perfect for my son; they come in 3 different colours and the total came to be just under $20.

  • (Online shopping fitment will surely be the death of me.) He's going to be 4 next month, but probably would fit better in the 3/4 size, as of right now, but the 4/5 will likely just be grown into during the next few months.

  • Comparable quality to Target brand kids' clothing.

  • Good for: comfy basics/ lounging, sleepwear

    • AS FOR quality and value of these shirts //

( ノ ゚ー゚)ノ 3/5 Rating :

They are truly basic. Nothing special. I know. What could I be expecting with buying these; but for the price and quality, the pack of 3 would make more sense ranging from $10-(max)$15. Brand name does nothing for me here.

They're soft due to them being cotton-made, but definitely are thin in fabric. I'm used to buying kids' clothing from Target and these are probably a half point better than the Target brands; I'd rather pay what Target asks for, for basically the same quality.

They also wrinkle easily- throw dryer sheets in with them or try and take them out quickly once they are done in your dryer.

(Or silly gigi, just get an iron)

  • I purchased these in the colour: ANTHRACITE GREY, which are basically black.

  • 4/5 size are big on him, by length and on the waist.

  • Pockets are usable, but the waist drawstring is not.

  • It also notes on the site not to tumble dry, and I'm sorry, but what mum has the time to not tumble dry for the pace of kids!?

  • Good for: comfy basics/ lounging, sleepwear

    • AS FOR quality and value //

Super soft, but the price is high for what they are.. their products are just too close to the Target brand. The pockets are made from a very thin and I'm guessing they won't last a few washes (esp. if I shouldnt be tumble drying them) + the waist drawstring doesn't even work, it's just there for looks 😑

  • It's a perfect plain long sleeve. I got it in the color Ecru: which is definitely dangerous getting for a messy toddler, but I want to order one in another color: in Navy Blue.

  • This fitting is larger than the basic shirts, both in size 4-5 years, but this one is longer. He will definitely get some time usage worn from this one.

  • Even though the price is under $10, it's quality is on point! Definitely 100% worth grabbing one for your child if you're looking for a basics; yet the buttons add dimension to the shirt, rather than be as basic, as basic can be.

  • Good for: comfy basics/ lounging/ school, day clothes

    • AS FOR quality and value //

( ノ ゚ー゚)ノ 5/5 Rating :

Super soft and comfortable for your little. The colour range varies but keep the tones earthy. Quality for the price you are paying.

For myself

x Cropped Jacket:

I love light cardigans and I didn't own any! Until now . .. .

+ for $10?

A price you can't let go

ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ)

I ordered it in my usual XS size; definitely should have sized up seeing how it fit on the model.

- it's short on my arm length and too small if I were to button it up fully -

I do like the cropped style of the cardigan though:

  • One thing I have noticed:

    • I only washed and dried it once + it's already having slight fray..

      • So yes, being $10 is necessary, don't spend anymore on this quality!

    • Good for: comfy day, basics/ lounging

      • AS FOR quality and value //

( ノ ゚ー゚)ノ 2/5 Rating :

Super soft, but the thing is already fraying...

So if you are paying the $10 expect that,

I wouldn't recommend spending the original price at $20.

(¬_¬) my final thoughts on Zara:

I found one actually good article of clothing from my entire order.

Like I mentioned, me being a new Zara customer,

I had no expectation of how my order would go.

But since I only found one piece I did like overall,

I'll probably skip on purchasing from here again:

(at least until I can go in store and see the clothing first)

Oh also,

the shipping process failed to deliver to me after a 4/5 days after the expected delivery date, but when it finally delivered - the box wasn't tapes shut and looked stepped on lol

Hm was confusing, but that's the downside of online ordering imo
