It's been kind of a (not-so) hectic few days.
It started pretty nice, my skin was looking better from the comedones extractors: and even though I returned the at-home facial steamer, those skin tools worked quite well..
So then I got a different set of (comedones extractors) on amazon, but when I tried those they didn't work nearly as well. That fake "rose bronze" looking color is not close to that color when I received them in the mail. It took so much more pressure to get the whiteheads out too. So yet another return I want to make.
So now, with a red face, I'll have to let my face take a few days off of any more extractions.

I drove a long, full, entire day to and back from Maine; so that my boyfriend could buy a car. I didn't even get to see Maine before the sun went down!
щ(ಠ益ಠщ)
big pain
but he finally has a car; that means we both finally have cars and can focus on something else!
{{ I say: knowing that in fact the cars will still be stressing me out }}

I actually had the end of the day to run out my returns.
I ended up returning two things at Ulta:
Just two items that I never got to use, and since I've bought other products; I just didn't need these.

Then I had to make a return at Hollister:

I had to order these from in store, but shipped to my house; so I could get an XXS in size. When I tried them on, about a week later, when they finally arrived; they were huge. not only around my legs, but in length too. They definitely were soft, but as for sizing, just way way off. If you are larger than XS, then they'd be worth getting. As for girls who are XS and smaller, I wouldn't purchase them.
I bought this so I could have a matching top to the pants + in store it looked really cute on the mannequin (that was off the shoulder with a bralette underneath). With this shirt too, it looked way different on me than the model (honestly, obviously). As for sizing, I got an XS, but it did not fit like one; the torso of the top was wide like a S/M, but the sleeves were short and wide on me; it also has these really ugly elastics where your wrists are. Anyways, didn't fit right, couldn't pull off an off the shoulder look with it either, so therefore: returned.
After of course making returns,
seemed like it was a good plan to go spend more money,

Sephora was my first stop: actually the first time I've been in a Sephora since the pandemic. I've been looking online for a facial toner, and I came across the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner. So I bought it there and I'm hoping it will help nourish my skin and shrink my pores.
Then I made a last stop at Lush: I went in looking for hair products; thinking, maybe, if I use a 'more-natural' brand, maybe my hair will come back to life. I browsed a few things in there that I considered purchasing, but I settled on buying two hot oil hair treatments:
I got this one because I read about their other Marilyn product; but didn't want to spend so much money incase it did not work for me-- basically, I broke it in half and put the tab in boiling water.
Firstly, it smells TERRIBLE.
(×̯×)
Like fish and pungent seawater.
When mixing it into the boiling water it creates an oatmeal texture, but soggier. Smearing it into my hair just felt incredibly gross. It looks like dried leftover food once dried- a true downside of "natural" based products. Washing it out is necessary with shampoo, so it gets any traces of "food" out. After using it; it definitely left my hair drier than usual and stripped some out after washing. I hate that I spent any money on these sort of products/ a one-time use but leaves my hair feeling more dry and not nice whatsoever.
Another hot oil treatment I really shouldn't have even tried. These tablets smell so nasty. But here I go mixing it into the boiling water: this one created an egg yolk texture. I only used half, smeared it on my hair and let it sit for about 30 mins. Washing it out, it was like washing food out of your hair; pretty gross, and probably should shampoo with it to wash the traces out. Regardless whatever you need to do; I don't know why I'm even continuing; just don't get it ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶
Another day of sheep-ing through the seller/consumer lifestyle; and definitely another one coming again. The mundane, is life consuming. Hopefully there will be a day I can be set free from it. The new moon phase has started and I'm looking forward to the next few days of a new beginning!
