I guess looking up pc gaming setups on Pinterest really influences my wallet.. cauuuuse now,
I've got plenty of Razer products.
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈•゚
And now, I can finally review and test out them first hand, rather than watch gamer girls flaunt their entire collection on Youtube.
꒰ Honestly, no hate at all,
more like envy ꒱
The products I'm be reviewing are:
Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard
Razer Viper Ultimate w Charging dock - Quartz - mouse
Razer Sphex V2 mouse mat
Razer Kraken - Quartz- headphones
Kitty Ears - Quartz - for Razer Kraken
The first ever Razer product I wanted from them was a keyboard.
I mean as an internet writer, having a fun keyboard, that clicks when I am typing, is ideal.
Also, the very first time I saw a light up keyboard -- that was it -- I wanted one immediately.
(*ฅ́˘ฅ̀*)
Razer was just the first company that really sparked my interest on aesthetically-pleasing computer products.
I had my eye on the Razer keyboards for a v long time, but couldn't fathom spending an arm and leg on just a keyboard, esp. when I didn't even start building my computer.. but luckily I actually found one on clearance at Target, sooo I had to right? ⸜( ⌓̈ )⸝
I've been using this keyboard with my Apple MacBook Pro;
& I guess, it looks weird -
having my laptop and a real keyboard connected to it..
but I do it anyways — that's how much I truly enjoy using this new love of mine.
It actually does make me want to spend more time typing
as you'll be able to tell in this ridiculously long post:
⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄
one thing that made this keyboard stand out to me was of course the range of lighting that it can do. The customisation is my favourite about it. I can do certain keys, certain colours, or split colours all throughout the board. There's also built in effects; I love the starlight one, or ripple effect, but if I want to have the lights on the entire time it's plugged in: I customised the fire effect or will leave it on spectrum effect; so it will faze through all the colours. (∩˃o˂∩)♡
A super huge bonus is that this is MECHA-MEMBRANE;
in super simple terms that means: the keyboard
c⃣ l⃣ i⃣ c⃣ k⃣ s⃣
a⃣ n⃣ d⃣
c⃣ l⃣ a⃣ c⃣ k⃣ s⃣
Also side-note:
If you are a gamer and want to find a keyboard that works with your gaming— this does have special gaming key effects and separates gaming keys in lighting customisation
{ and that may not make a huge difference on your deciding factor, but it is something
that I will probably use once I start gaming }
If I had to say any cons about this keyboard-
I mean, I really don't have any dislikes about it..
Maybe that some lights under specific keys aren't as bright as the rest.. but for what it is; I definitely love what it is and am super happy I found it!

When I saw that Razer came out with their
◣I just had to ʜ ᴏ ᴘ ᴏɴ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ʙᴀɴᴅᴡᴀɢᴏɴ◥
With my keyboard plugged into my laptop;
it was so uncomfortable still using the mousepad.
The next computer item I had to buy: a mouse
(๑•͈ᴗ•͈)
I honestly have never even bought myself a mouse before,
possibly because the last time I even used one in my house
was back in early 2000's when all I had was our family desktop.
This thing was a whopping amount of money -
I mean w a y more than I imagined myself purchasing a mouse for initially
but lemme
˜”*°•.˜”*°• ignore my buyer's remorse •°*”˜.•°*”˜
and actually fill you in on it:
the mouse has a v nice weight to it.
it's v light, but has a dense centre .. ..
‹ look @ me trying to speak like I have any idea
what a gaming mouse should feel like ¨̮ ›
It's also versatile; so, it's wireless, or I can just leave it plugged in once the bat life fails on me. There's also sneaky lil spot under the mouse to put the 'wireless usb' when I do decide to just keep the mouse plugged in.
this has a charging dock, and ofc another g r e a t pro; the bottom of it lights up and even has a colour range that indicates where the battery percentage is at.
A thing to note about my review is that,
I haven't really been using this mouse for too long
「 o n e day to be e x a c t 」
but I did realise that;
I can't even download the correct software for the mouse...
𝙛𝙛𝙨 (∩˃o˂∩) *externally screaming*
this prevents me from using all the features on the mouse..
As you can probably notice from just this one post --
is that I love my lighting, and I cannot adjust the colours on my mouse, without the ability of downloading Razer Synapse 3, as well as many other device configurations, becaaaause:
for Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
UGH 𝙛𝙛𝙨 (∩˃o˂∩) *externally screaming*
So YUP. That's a huge downside,
but yet ᴀɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀ thing I will be looking forward to using when I have a pc with windows.
(╭☞•́⍛•̀)╭☞
with the mouse I needed another item:
𝕒 𝕞𝕠𝕦𝕤𝕖 𝕡𝕒𝕕
Razer Sphex V2 in the standard size
little did I know; standard size meant:
【massive size】
I bought this mat because it was cheap. ok?
c͓̽a͓̽u͓̽g͓̽h͓̽t͓̽ ͓̽m͓̽e͓̽ ⇢ Yes, so cheap price usually means, cheap quality.
which is, you got it right, exactly the case here:
When I received it in the mail I was definitely shocked on the size,
I never meant to buy such a large mat (¯ . ¯٥)
Even if size doesn't matter:
It has a sticky adhesion on the back of it, like I'm talking literal 𝘢𝘥𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, as in. .
it created bubbling under the pad (like a tempered glass screen protector would on a phone). If I'd know how sticky it was, I definitely would have cleaned under the pad super effectively and slowly adhered it onto my desk to avoid bubbling.
Not only is bubbling an issue;
but damn
this M O U S E M A T
ripped off the top layer of paint on my desk!
ಠ▃ಠ
I mean, THANKFULLY I got my desk from a friend for free,
so I'm not that upset.. but holy hell, if this was a desk I actually liked.. I'd be hella angry (ノಥ益ಥ)ノ ┻━┻
¯\_༼ ಥ ‿ ಥ ༽_/¯
𝓂𝑜𝓋𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑜𝓃 . . .
Just two more products to get through --
hope you're still with me.
I didn't exactly 𝓷𝓮𝓮𝓭 a headset . . .
or the kitty ears . .
but I did it.
Another buyer's remorse to 𝓃ℴ𝓃𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓁𝒶𝓃𝓉𝓁𝓎 avoid .
but hey, we're here and I might as well review them both
(人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
॑꒳ ॑ the Headset:
They're definitely clunky and large on my head,
but tbh I've wanted a pair of headphones like Beats by Dre;
these may not produce sound quality as well as those,
they do check off the cute looking factor in comparison though ¨̮
on my head there's a bit of wiggle room around my ears;
so not particularly noise-cancelling, but does a good enough job.
the mic is retractable so if I do want to wear them just for listening to music, or playing on my switch, I won't look odd with a mic hanging down in front of my face.
it says that these have cooling gel-infused ear cushions but to the touch they seem like they have an uncomfortable warm fabric on them;
meh, I guess I'll have to get in a good sweat sesh
to test those bad boys out ◔_◔
To get better sound quality, it's possible.
there's 𝖆𝖓𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗 downloadable software for this headset --
+ y e s, you will just need good old trusty windows.

(╭☞•́⍛•̀)╭☞
buuuut now I take you to the -ˏˋ final review ˎˊ-
of the Kitty Ears:
I mean $20 doesn't seem like a lot - but for these -
I just don't think they were worth it:
just to not look like a kitty cat ˃̶̤́˘͈ᵕ˘͈˂̶̤̀
because I'm $20 more broke and these don't really even fit the headset properly, or as purrr-fectly as it states on their website; which causes them to create wrinkles and creasing on the headset band. They also don't seem to have a great latch that hold them together, I guess I'll see how long they last.
✧˖*°࿐After really looking over what I bought and what everything costed ₊˚.༄
My overall thoughts on Razer: 8✩ // 10
They do have a really great range of products, unfortunately for me though; it seems like unless you are paying an arm and a leg, you are likely to receive quite cheap products. I didn't pay top dollar, I could have spent way more, but everything still equaled out to be quite expensive.
Also, the downloadable softwares are quite restrictive to windows. So, with everything reviewed, I definitely would love to pay more for the higher quality products from this company, and with time, I likely will, but for someone who's just starting up, or ❝ doesn't have windows ❞: I can bet there are really great companies out there with more affordable items with the same quality.
